Since February 28, the hospitality sector has been hit first and hit hard.

The sudden loss of Belal Abiad, father, son, husband, brother, friend and Coach, leaves a hole in our heart.
If you’ve spent any time on a basketball court in our city, you know the outsized role Belal played in building the sport.
It wasn’t just a game to him. It was a way of life. He taught integrity, discipline, resilience and teamwork to boys and girls across Dubai.
He was taken too soon, but his contributions to our city will live forever.
Rest easy, B. Thank you for all you did for so many.
We still don’t quite know how to wrap up this year’s Sole DXB.
The energy was overflowing.
