Hello friends, We’ve been busy behind the scenes, and we’re finally ready to give you a sneak peek of what we’ve been cooking up: @topofnewyorkpizza (T.O.N.Y.). It started when a line from “Mona Lisa” by Slick Rick - “sit down eat your slice of pizza and be quiet” - repeated in my head, sparking the idea: a pizzeria rooted in New York City lore, built around the slice that fueled so many of our early days. From there, I teamed up with longtime friend @mannydnyc to bring it to life, not as just another slice shop, but something familiar, done with real care and attention to detail. We were blessed by king @haze who created the T.O.N.Y. logo. 🫡 To make the vision real, we partnered with @aldimeglio , known to many as the founding chef of Rubirosa and the chef/owner of Barano, which he’s led for over a decade. Together, we’ve been dialing in the T.O.N.Y. approach, classic New York slices, made with precision, quality ingredients, and a deep respect for the craft. We’re excited to finally share it with you. Join us for the T.O.N.Y. PIZZA Pop-up at Barano in Williamsburg Sat, May 16 | 12–4 PM Music by Stretch Armstrong Tickets in bio. 🍕 🍕 🍕 🍕 🍕

Goodbye my friend. Thank you for the endless laughs, the smiles so intense they hurt, the never/ending snaps, but most of all, for always being your unique, funky self. I hope you’re with Doom, Grand Ghetto and Raida somewhere being weird and hilarious. I’m going to miss you a lot, but will continue to laugh and smile every time I hear your voice in my head. Much love to his rock Mona, Sear’s family, Sear’s music and radio fam, and to everyone checking in. I love you, brother. Lord Sear Forever. 🙏🏻

Just Blaze, Rich Medina, Arturo Nunez and Stretch Armstrong have each shaped culture from behind the scenes for decades. Their paths look different, but they share a common thread: showing up consistently, building community, and protecting the integrity of the work. This conversation wasn’t about trends or virality. It was about craft, trust, and what it takes to last in spaces where attention moves fast but respect is earned slowly. Pulled from a conversation on the Summit stage, these reflections offer a rare look at how culture is actually built and sustained over time. Some lessons only come from being in it long enough to see what holds. Watch the full conversation on Summit’s YouTube — link in bio.

Thank you Sole DXB! You’ve set such a high bar yet keep getting better. After being there for my ninth time out of ten years, it’s inspiring to witness what you guys (@raj9714 @solejr @hussbhoy ) have created and how the festival has evolved. Love to my guys @whoisquintin and @uncleronnie8miles , and of course my negative twin @richmedina who joined me for his first at Sole, so that we could hit ‘em with the wonder twin powers. I’m not sure there is a more powerful song than this. Listening to it was hard enough with Mr. Cliff still with us. Now it’s almost too heavy, and yet I can’t stop listening.
