The Family Meal. For some, it’s sitting around the table with loved ones. For others in the industry, it’s the meal shared just before a grueling service — the calm before the storm. This one is different. This Family Meal is our way of giving back to the backbone of Dubai’s F&B industry — the people hit hardest by the recent regional situation. Job losses, reduced pay, unpaid leave. The people who keep this industry running, now being left behind. So we decided to step up. Over the next month, we’ll be delivering 1,500+ chef-made, gourmet meals to the people who deserve to be taken care of. World-class industry chefs and incredible corporate partners came together to make this happen — and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of it. Secret time: In the last 6 years we have received 5 of these bad boys 🏆 and we are eternally grateful for every single one of them. The recognition from our fellow industry peers is a blessing and we thank you all ❤️ the imposter syndrome is absolutely real. We never feel like we deserve it. Every year we say “not this year”. 2025 especially has been especially tough. There were regrets, doubts, change ups, lows, rejection and massive hits to our confidence. This award serves as a reminder as to why we do what we do and sometimes it’s ok to say “we are enough!”. Big things are brewing in the kitchen and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. I enter a new phase in my life with an open heart and an empty stomach! To all my fellow chefs, oyster shuckers, stewards, runners, demis, garde-mangers, and food handlers, i say unto you in the words of the Chairman’s uncle….. “ALLEZ CUISINE!” 🔪

Akkoub – thorny, resilient, and deeply rooted in Palestinian soil. For generations, it’s been foraged with care, cooked with pride, and carried as a quiet symbol of resistance. We came together—four chefs, one ingredient—to honor its legacy. I made a Fatet Akkoub with lamb hashweh, lemon sauce, garlicky yogurt, and crispy chicken skin. Painstaking to prepare, but worth every thorn 🇵🇸🍉
