We are very excited @threadsfestswindon to be having an original banner or 2 created by the amazing women of Greenham Common.

We were so lucky to meet @bunny_morethan at a screening of Gentle Angry Women @sofascreenings
and chatted to her about her book and asked if any of the Greenham banners still existed.

Have been so kind in to letting us display the banners and use the archive photos in our exhibition 'Threads of Empowerment '
'....They formed what became the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp. They stayed there for almost twenty years, in what would become the largest, most effective women-led protest since the Suffragette campaign- and they would radicalise a generation'.

Work experience was a completely new concept for me. We don’t have it in Lithuania, but I think it’s such an amazing opportunity for students to experience a real workplace for three days.
I’ve had the chance to lead quite a few students at @createstudiosdigital and every time I’m amazed by the creativity young people bring to the table. Gen Z is full of great ideas, awareness of trends and so much energy.
We had a great time creating social media content for the Sofa Screenings.
Learning how things actually work at such a young age is truly incredible, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to lead this experience.

This festive season @sofascreenings is gifting you a very special screening at @createstudiosdigital .
A beloved fantasy film from the 2000’s based on one of the most iconic novels in fantasy, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, will be screened.
Not only a film fitting for the festive season, but also one that is having its 20th anniversary this year!
The screening will be filled with wonderful decorations and at 2pm, 2 hours before the screening starts, there will be a Christmas themed quiz!
