Led by our team of inspiring professional theatre makers, sessions will take place at Lighthouse. Offering young people the chance to develop new performance and theatre skills – all building to an annual production showcase that takes place on stage at Lighthouse!

A quite extraordinary night in the company of the mercurial @real_jah_wobble , one of the very few genuine musical polymaths to emerge from the ashes of punk’s first wave. A @sexpistols courtier, he was @pilofficial ’s first bassist before immersing himself in a panoply of world music and dance beats with his long-standing Invaders of the Heart outfit. For this show their number include former Banshee Jon Klein and after Wobble’s apparent initial reticence to get involved in their performance, they came to life as he orchestrated proceedings from the front, quoted Shakespeare, reimagined Swan Lake and took the mick out of the band. His between-song digressions were worth the price of admission alone – nobody could have felt short changed that he didn’t quite complete the task of playing PiL's Metal Box in Dub – as he coached in-house sound man Josh in the dark arts of deep bass. So successful was the show, in fact, that Wobble subsequently released two songs – Careering and No Birds (Do Sing – as a single, Live at the Lighthouse 2024. What did you make of it all?
