It is with immense excitement that we announce our debut exhibition ‘Slow Ways: Our Common Ground’.
We present to you crafts from all reaches of the UK - makers we met on our walk, makers we have met since, and makers of QEST & Heritage Crafts. From tanning, turning and weaving to printing, spinning and stitching we hope to present the true spirit of the handmade.
We will be showing at @artotellondonhoxton for the whole month of May! Coinciding with London Craft Week, there will be a programme of events inc. talks, demos and workshops, so stay tuned. We have some fantastic artists joining us for a residency -
@acme.atelier@_vevar@cavanjayne@chloevalorso !
There will be a private view on the 8th May, for anyone interested please send us a DM or email and we can add you to the list.
Many details to come. We can’t wait to welcome you all.
Thank you @petrabigham_art for this wonderful blockprint and @minnagrafix for the poster.
Happy New Year folks! A little reflection on some lessons learned from our walk.
Craft isn’t fragile because it’s old, it’s fragile because it operates on timescales our economy no longer supports. To donate towards this very important cause you can still go to our gofundme (link in our bio). We’re trying to reach £10,000 to go to two very important charities @heritagecrafts@qestcraft . That requires less than half of you to give £1.
Thank you for everyone’s support!
A reflection on the last few months and the start of an exciting new project.
An enormous thank you to all involved! We can’t wait to produce somthing valuable from it.

Breath & Craft — A Ritual Evening
An immersive experience within the @slowways_ exhibition where breathwork, craft, and sensory perception meet.
Guided by Chloé Valorso, this ritual evening moves between inner journey and material exploration: — shamanic breathwork to release & expand — a sensory dialogue with the exhibition — a mandala drawing session in the residency studio to anchor the experience
A passage between body, breath, and matter A space where craft becomes ritual

An enormous thank you to you all for coming! It was lovely to see some familiar faces from our days on the ways, as well as those who have really inspired and influenced this project from the very beginning. In particular, we’d like to thank Guy Hayward, Lulu Lytle and James Stevens for an inspiring conversation on craft’s accessibility and the power of storytelling.

Our exhibition at art’otel is all month open everyday, 9:00 - 18:00! Please come down :)
Tonight we have our first panel conversation! Answering a question that began the walk…
‘If skill, care, and time have lost their value in how we produce and consume, how do we change that to ensure heritage crafts survive? And what do we stand to lose if change doesn’t come?’
We are in no better hands to tackle this question. I am very pleased to welcome Lulu, James and Guy to our panel and private view this evening. The talk will be filmed and streamed afterwards.
