Snake Medicine Necklaces, unique pieces made from Python snake vertebrae, silver, 9k gold. This series started in 2019 and is ongoing…
This piece is the physical embodiment of a metaphysical experience from one of my breathwork journeys. It incarnates the fine line between dream and reality; From natural to handmade, organic to technique, imagined to experienced.
The real vertebrae are morphing into silver ones, reminding us of our continuous metamorphosis as we evolve and adapt to the worlds around us. The snake medicine necklace is an amulet empowering its wearer. The snake skeleton has been sourced sustainably from a uk reptile rescue association.
It won the Marzee award in 2019

LONDON RESIDENCY 🇬🇧✨ @artotellondonhoxton
I’ll be opening my studio and sharing my current Alchemical research where my artistic practice is the integration of my spiritual teachings.
Over the next days, I’ll be activating the space in different ways:
— Panel talk for @londoncraftweek (May 14) with @slowways_@qestcraft
— Collective Breath & Craft ritual evening (May 21)
— Open studio (May 23–24)
This residency is an invitation to step into my process where craft becomes ritual, and material becomes a threshold between the visible and invisible.

BREATH & CRAFT — May 21
An immersive ritual evening shaped around breath, matter, and perception.
Within the Slow Ways exhibition, I’ll guide a shamanic breathwork journey : a space to release, reconnect, and expand awareness.
As the breath deepens, the exhibition transforms into a living landscape.
We’ll then gather in the studio for a mandala drawing session to anchor the experience into form and symbol.
A passage between body, breath, and material.
Limited to 8 participants

Meet our next Artist in Residence, @chloevalorso - a Spirit Jewellery Artist whose work explores the symbolic and energetic relationship between body, material and environment. Working primarily with metal and stone through techniques such as lost-wax casting and carving, her practice merges ancestral craft with surrealist assemblage.
During her residency, Chloe will develop Dreamstones - an ongoing research project exploring the symbolic, geological and cultural power of stones, having spent the past two years investigating stones through hand-carved minerals, river-found fragments and lab grown crystals questioning what makes a stone precious. She will also lead Breath & Craft, an immersive ritual workshop on Thursday 21 May, join A Maker’s Table: An Evening of Craft & Conversation for @londoncraftweek , plus you can drop into The Studio and meet Chloe throughout her residency.
In The Studio from 18 - 30 May.

The sun is peeking and the smiles are back ! Check out the smile shop on my website iwasborninazoo.com to get yours. Each smile is unique, hand carved in beeswax then cast in metal, leaving the traces of the hand, the tools. All are a bit crooked, a bit fucked up because life is… still smiling,
All emotions welcome,
Dm for bespoke and stoned

Water flows in the fountain, the line of the stream like the Styx or hope in chaos ? The line of the chain, each link sculpted and soldered as a magical talisman, one, two, six, the power of the words. A jewellery chain as a Spell.

Chimera Crab, a symbol for resilience. It embodies resilience through its physical and spiritual nature. Indeed the crab sheds its armour, much like a snake, to grow. They also regrow their limbs, regenerating lost claws, rebuilding themselves after trauma. Living between water and earth, they are masters of transition, moving sideways rather than confronting obstacles head on.
