Join the DYE WEAVE PLEAT collective at @artotellondonhoxton during @londoncraftweek
Four heritage craft studios from Scotland will join us for a residency during London Craft Week 11th-17th May. @cavanjayne@_vevar@acme.atelier@kristin.beeler
Explore the process of combing traditional skills to create the contemporary kilts featured in Our Common Ground; an exhibition curated by @slowways_ , which celebrates makers and materials across the length of Britain.
The collective will be showcasing their skills at The Makers Table; an evening of craft and conversation, featuring film screening, talks and demonstrations 14th May 6-10pm.
DYE WEAVE PLEAT will be hosting individual workshops focused on applied dye techniques (Sat 16th May), handwoven yarns and trimmings (Friday 15th and Sunday 17th May) and handstitched kiltmaking (Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th May).

LA FETICHE presents the making of ALEX
We are proud to support local artisanal makers in SCOTLAND to create our iconic collections. For SS26 we have collaborated with Glasgow-based artisanal textile dyer Cavan Mcpherson to expertly create ACID DENIM for #ALEX
Follow the process; from Cavan using specialised techniques to create the bespoke fabric right up to our team adding hand-embroidered finishing details.
Cavan uses advanced, design led techniques to meticulously engineer colour to silhouette. She specialises in highly unique and innovative ways of applying and subtracting colour onto textiles - at LA FETICHE we love how each piece by Cavan is one of a kind.
Thank you @cavanjayne 🩷

Hand dyed accessories ✨
‘Accessories close the collection. A Reggae Klub Scarf inspired by original flyer art and traditional Scottish tartan sits beside a selection of headwear ranging from the classic to the dramatic. Easy-wear baseball caps, voluminous
Hand-Crocheted Bucket Hats and smart Baker Boys introduce dramatic jolts of colour and print whilst making bold reference to subcultures gone by. These wearable signifiers become a means of preservation, the past honoured, alive, present. A Rooted Revival.’
