Amelia and Ant hosted their celebrations in a field at Oaklands Farm, South Africa, with the Limietberg Mountains stretched out behind them in the evening sun. “Guests arrived by farm trucks and pick ups - it was rustic and total magic” describes Amelia.
“After the ceremony, we followed the same dusty path to the reception, where champagne waited in bathtubs on ice, a saxophonist played in the background, and the kind of speeches unfolded that you wish you could bottle.”
Amelia wore STYLE 108, an ankle length drop waist gown cut from silk milkado. “I kept everything simple. The dress felt timeless and easy, exactly right for the setting and the heat. Paired with delicate jewellery and pointed flats, it was all I needed.”

A memorable entrance set the tone for PRUE and ELI's amazing wedding in the Hunter Valley wine region in Australia. "We didn't plan it, but as we entered the reception Eli picked me up in his arms and spun me around while all of our friends surrounded us, with our saxophonist and DJ playing. It was the start of an incredible party - the vibes were high and we couldn't stop smiling!
"The brief for our stylist @sugarblossomevents was "vintage hollywood romance". We wanted to lean into the venue's rich autumnal tones, so we decided on a moody and elegant colour palette of chocolate, dark olive, rich plum, rosewood, dusty blush and ivory. We had lots of sculptural florals that incorporated grapes and other fruits, luxurious layering of satin fabric, vintage silverware and extra long candles to add to the drama.
"Food played a really important part in our day. After the ceremony, we had two hours of cocktails and a cacio e pepe pasta wheel station, before we sat down for a shared three course Italian banquet. We then served mini tiramisus, nutella donuts and espresso martinis as the dance floor kicked off."

During a visit to the Palais Galliera in Paris we were inspired by the beautiful archival lace pieces we saw. We loved the idea of a shawl or a mantle but wanted to have a modern ease about it. We created STYLE 211 from a french lace with incredible scalloped detail and finished with a delicate twist at the neck.
STYLE 166 in the sunshine ☀️ the perfect balance of refinement and playfulness with a smooth corseted bodice and a playful ankle length bubble skirt. The wrapped draping detail meets at the back to create a train moment that feels fresh and interesting.
A chance meeting in a sports bar in NYC was the unlikely meet cute for Marisa and Wilson but they hit it off straight away. Marisa says, "We got married at Etereo in Riviera Maya in Mexico. We’ve spent a lot of time in Mexico as a couple, so we knew we wanted to have the wedding there."
Her wedding outfit took a little more effort - a flight across the Atlantic, to be exact, "The OWN Studio had caught my eye when I first got engaged, but I had just missed their trunk show in New York, where I’m based. I knew I wanted a simple, classic column look and I wasn’t finding exactly what I wanted after a few months of looking. Finally I decided to just book a flight to London! I tried on a few different options, but as soon as I tried STYLE 053, I knew I found the one.
"My sister wore a beautiful Monvieve veil for her wedding a few years ago. It was cathedral-style with beautiful lace detailing, and once I had my dress, I knew it would go perfectly. It was my “something borrowed” for the day!
"Given the veil added some drama, I kept the jewelry simple. For shoes, I basically copied the heels that the dress was pictured with on the OWN site. I loved how the dress had a small slit to show them off!
"We decided to write our own vows, and the first time we read them to each other was at the ceremony. Sharing why we love each other and how we want to spend the rest of our lives in front of our closest friends and family was incredibly special."

LIMITED EDITION // We’ve always looked to combine an element of softness and structure in our pieces, it’s what gives a piece its edge (in our opinion anyway). There are so many details that make STYLE 187 so special and the fit so incredible. The softly structured mikado bodice is built around a concealed waspie corset that contains and sculpts while allowing the body to move. The skirt was developed through organic hand draping sessions perfected over many hours of fittings. The silk satin skirt melts over the body and moves with an amazing ease. A dress we’re incredibly proud of.
THE WASPIE CORSET // an evolution of the Victorian term ‘wasp waist,’ the name ‘waspie’ refers to an ultra fitted corset that cinches the waist and sits under the bust.
Last season we began building internal waspie corsets into some of our pieces as they looked and felt incredible to wear. For this collection wanted to create a waspie that would be worn on top of a gown but looked seamless and almost melted into the dress. We love how it adds amazing structure and shape, transforming a relaxed dress into something more constructed. It can then be taken away to reveal a more fluid, easy silhouette later in the day.
Our waspie has 36 individual pattern pieces and is made using 12 different components including wire boning that follows your body’s shape for a super flattering fit. The piece is edged with a foldable stretch grosgrain ribbon for a beautifully clean finish. Styled here with STYLE 190, an asymmetric draped gown - the two work beautifully together to create that collision of structure and softness.
THE MAKING OF STYLE 191 // often the most organic looking of dresses take the longest to perfect. It took 4 fittings to get the drape on this gown perfect, hours of development work! So many other finer details make this dress special including 13 components in the bodice alone. The inner corset is one of our signature designs, with the incredible power mesh which contains and holds but is still very breathable. We love the silk organza straps which are super delicate and 'barely there' and our signature silk crepe which is beautifully supple.
