Ashley & Jerry married in Hawaii.
It still feels like yesterday when I met these two in San Francisco. We spent the day exploring the city, everything from finding the best viewing spot of the Golden Gate Bridge, to walking in forests, to eating hot pot together. If you know Jerry, you’ll know how easy he is to chat with and how easily he makes you laugh, and Ashley has the warmest kindest heart.
They asked me to document their wedding day and it was truly an honour. After 37 hours of travel time (3 flights later) I finally arrived in Hawaii. I had one night sleep and then jumped straight into telling their story.
It was a dream. Everything was perfect, from the vendors, the food and the beautiful nature. What stood out the most to me was their family and friends and how much love they each share for this special couple.
I have way too many favourite photographs from the day, this is just a small look. I will definitely be sharing more.
Much love.

It rained most of the day but these two just smiled and embraced the weather.
Everything was thought out and considered by these two. From the food, to the music and everything in between. They wanted to create a magical experience to celebrate with their friends and family.
It was the most beautiful day.
Jenna and Basil. Thank you for trusting in my art.

What can I say about these two. They are the best kind of people. Filled with so much love and heart.
They chose to have an intimate wedding celebration with their favourite people in the Breede valley. They’ve lived in Sydney for a couple of years now so it was very special for them to have all their family and friends together in one place in their home country.
It was an emotional day for sure. I laughed and cried alongside the guests.
At the end of the evening. Brendan said a thank you to me as I was photographing by the doorway, everyone started clapping and I felt such overwhelming love. The last frame depicts this moment and it's one of my favourites.
Walking to the ceremony.
You can feel the anticipation in this frame, which took place moments before Angela walked down the aisle at the Boston Public Library.
One of my favourite frames from the day.
Felix and Petru flew all the way from Germany to have their wedding day in Paarl at a very special place.
They had "Surrounded" by Josh Garrels playing as the ceremony started and I pretty much teared up immediately.
Their day was free flowing and effortlessly elegant. But above it all. They prioritized connection with their guests. I’m sure everyone had a tear or two throughout the day.
Natasha and Dhruv got married on what was probably the hottest day of the year in Cape Town. It hit around 45 degreees Celsius. The just smiled and enjoyed the day.
Their ceremony was held at the iconic Sanctuary in La Roche. They planned for the day to be a joyous celebration filled with colour, amazing food and lots of live music!
A few favourite frames (film and digital) from their wedding day at La Roche in Franschoek.

When I met with Ryan and Merissa in London over coffee, we chatted about how they wanted their wedding day to feel like. They wanted the day to be a celebration with a focus on documenting the day.
These 10 frames encapsulate how the day felt.
M & R, thank you for trusting in my art.
Much love.
Chris & Amy. Frames on a mix of film and digital.
I’ve said many times how your tribe can define you. These two have such incredible friends and family. I’ve photographed a number of their friends weddings and every time I get more excited to photograph a wedding of someone in their community.
What stood out to me was how grounded this wedding celebration was. It was rooted in the people. From them singing during the ceremony, to all the shared laughter and hugs throughout. It was special to witness.
Enjoy this small look into the day.
Much love.
