I spent 4 months styling hair for the actors on the last season of Topboy. It was such a great experience! The team became my “Topboy family” which made coming to set even more enjoyable! I was mainly responsible for the hair and makeup for @jasminejobson and @araloyino who play Jaq and Stef, but also did the hair for some of the other cast members too!
I had to quickly get used to the long hours, working day and night shoots and managing my studio. Understanding how it all works behind the scenes and how much effort is put into creating a series/movie is insane 🤯🤯🤯 and I was blown away after seeing how it was all put together on my TV screen.
I’m glad I was able to be part of Topboy, who is loved and has been watched by the nation ✨✨

Since the topic for today is LOVE. I wanted to express my love for the experience I had this time last year working on the Bob Marley movie! You can only have a braided bob as long as your hair is… I’ve had many clients show me a picture of the length bob they would like to achieve with braids shorter than their natural hair. Unfortunately this is not possible, however there are alternatives hairstyles ie. faux locs, ponytails and sew ins which method allows your hair to be longer than the extension itself
