My Friends and Family mix for @phonicarecords is now live, it was a pleasure to record this and be part of this series. When putting it togerher I fished around for some wiggly records I may not usually get to spin in a club session but work into the more clubby stuff as it goes on keeping it pretty 4x4 throughout. Tomorrow we finish our 20 Years of @phonicarecords celebrations with a bang at @number90bar .. Super excited to be closing things into the early hours after the legend @tinicouldbeworse hope to see some some familiar faces in the dance :-)

This Friday we are doing the rarest of things, heading north of the river to play records. We are teaming up with brother channel W.A.P Station for a cosy instore session at @kristinarecords . We’ll be spinning from 6-10pm as SLVA and W.A.P Station, with an hour long SLAP at the end too W.A.P stands for Wiggy And Proud and their channel is strictly wapperz. Run and managed by two extremely close friends of ours Frav & Skip Wooznam, it was only a matter of time before we gave people a SLAP. If you haven’t come across their channel then you may have come across their first release as a record label Wap.Recs. Released back in March, WAP001 came from Roberto Manolio, titled Sublevel Restrictions. This release has found its way into the record bags of some of our favourite selectors since and you may have had your brain scrambled by it if you found yourself in a dark basement or sunrise-stricken forest this summer. With years and years of quiet digging and reputation building under their belts, the future looks bright for wappers, and we’re giving them out for free on Friday Come find us at Kristina, check out the records and buy a drink at the bar! Wowaweewa @dustyflyersclub was a special one yet again, thanks to all those involved for going above and beyond all expectations once more and for the trust in inviting me down again.. this time doing something a little different 🫡 Each year this festival has been a highlight of the year and I can’t wait to be in those trees again next year ❤️

I’ll be warming things up downstairs for the inimitable @ralph2020vision before @luthervinemusic and @rhythmsofprescott take the night into the small hours. We kick off at 5pm and will take you through the evening until 1am You will be taken good care of by selectors Lorcan (who is celebrating a birthday 🦀, Jamie Mc and Skip Wooznam as they wheel down their favourite beer garden records down to Herne Hill’s newest and sexiest watering hole.
