Phonica AM proudly introduces the first solo EP from upcoming Irish-born producer and DJ, Rhythms Of Prescott. For fans of Pepe Bradock and Derrick Carter, this record is a must-have.
The A-side kicks off with ‘Beat Heat’, a driving filter house monster underpinned by dubbed-out percussion, playful vocal interjections, and infectious disco stabs. Following up is ‘RGRT’, which delves into a deeper vibe with slick jazz samples and a pulsating filtered bass line. The B-side brings ‘The Instigator’, a tension-filled mind melter perfect for early morning trippiness, featuring Rhythms Of Prescott’s masterful sample manipulation and unique wonkiness, tried and tested on many global dance-floors, a firm favourite of Ryan Elliot.
This release showcases Rhythms Of Prescott’s raw approach and jackin’ sample manipulation to rock any dancefloor.

Quite excited to announce my first album, but in rhythm style going forward I’m throwing 2 out for a healthy dose of no fucks given, 24 tunes over the next coming months - It’s time for a fresh pallet.
I present to you Thoughts From The Future (The Present) & Subtraktiv Thinking (The Future).
This double album project has been in the works for the past few years, the first album is the first body of work completed in 2020. I’ve experimented with trying different things away from a dancefloor focus, a concept-based approach in writing some music which I found kept me inspired and creative all the time, a healthy balance I’ve found works for me with little thinking in the process. Over the years trying these things usually has been moments closest to my most authentic self, natural influences and listening to the movements, moods, and intuition of life - the vulnerable things, all very close to my heart. A series of tracks that I feel wrote themselves in some way, the intertwined messages weaving together to shape a larger story-curveballs, side streets, subliminal messages, off the grid, tempo dancing, bending time - all sorts of experimental debauchery throughout this 2 x 12 album project.
The two albums will be released on 3.12.24, until then I will drop a couple EPs of each over the coming months.

These last couple months have a been a right ol trip, a beautiful adventure to say the least, spontaneous music sessions with dear friends, finished projects & new ones to seal. A little cluster of images to showcase the movements, my loves and musical vibration snippets.
Last month I got to experience “Niall in the Nile drinking a Nile” in Uganda, where I am next working on a really amazing music house project, which I will be back wearing my designer & acoustic cap again. More to come on that one 🔍

Very proud of these tunes which are dear to me, Run of Deluxe was the first tune I wrote in Ireland between moving countries some years ago - touching on some Irish trance’ish roots my style of things.
