On Friday, May 15, @trulyfantastictwins brings her hybrid live setup to the Berlin Room: modular synthesis, sequenced textures and her own voice navigating kosmische, techno and experimental pop.
@_khidja_ will be honoring the night with their signature long-form explorations, stretching between Bucharest and Berlin sensibilities, past and future, pulsing and floating through outer space. Joining them, @marius__georgescu adds his eclectic selections drawn from the fringes of electronic music.

@flore_khidja and @rusofkhidja read the room in an instant, offering what Dim was all about since its formation, the first hours of ambient experimental mentalities.
What we couldn’t hope for is that they never abandon the experimental approach when walking knee-deep in mid-tempo club bangers. A technique they kept for the uplifting ending hours, too.
Two decks and two turntables in action at all times. You never knew when they’ll shower a percussive 10-minute live recording of some Japanese band yelling (ID please?) with a chunky vocal house curveball you never heard before. Or make a city DJ happy with a trance anthem.
We wanna thank the Khidjas for taking out their most lethal ammo for us with zero restraints, which is exactly why we are hosting the new series of Disco Not Disco parties at Dim. Dim simply loves it this way. It was conceived as an experimental bar, and we’re stoked to have it pushed in that direction by guests.
