There were great discussions and valuable insights at our “Building a Low Carbon Future” event yesterday. We were joined by Tom Foggin, Director, Architect and Certified Passivhaus Designer at @rhp_blog , and Gwilym Still, Passivhaus Director at @maxfordhamllp , who shared a focused and thought provoking overview of the Passivhaus certified mixed-use building at Lucy Cavendish College. Their session offered rare insight into early design decisions, embodied carbon considerations, practical challenges, and the real influence of Passivhaus standards on architectural outcomes. We also welcomed Ellen Willis, Head of Sustainability at @chetwoodsarchitects who led an engaging and interactive session on sustainable materials, exploring the realities of designing for a net-zero future.
