🎬What a week. Truly euphoric. Every year I feel more grateful to live these experiences — moments that remind me how special this world is. Paris has officially stolen the show, radiating with energy, elegance, and creativity. Being surrounded by friends, artists, and collectors from all around the world made it even more unforgettable. Still, I can’t help but feel the art world needs to take more risks, to surprise again, to find its pulse. We need deep core changes. ⚡️From @designmiami to @artbasel , @aaaahhhparisinternationale , @artistgeorgecondo at @museedartmodernedeparis , Gerhard Richter at the @fondationlv , @boursedecommerce , the new @fondationcartier , and the Musée Picasso — the city became an open-air museum. I also spent time exploring the auction houses @sothebys and @christiesinc , and discovering inspiring pop-ups and private shows — @laurencedreyfus , @pierrecornettedesaintcyr , Judd at @lawrencevh , and @7ruefroissart by @brigittemulholland , all adding their own spark to the week. 📉Of course, the market is complex right now — but these moments of conversation with passionate collectors and courageous dealers give me strength. Speaking with people who dare to think differently, to act with conviction and vision, is essential to continue this journey with meaning. 🏠Hosting and sharing are, for me, at the heart of it all. Having @foundationforcontemporaryarts at home and showing the collection to its members was a joy. Welcoming @jerrygogosian and organizing an @artscapy breakfast at home reminded me that art truly connects us — it’s about people, energy, and exchange. I deeply appreciated the honest talk with the brilliant @elisartgal for an upcoming article on @observer ❤️‍🔥We live for those moments. Beyond the market, beyond the noise, it’s the human connections that matter most. Let’s keep pushing for depth, emotion, and authenticity — because that’s where art truly lives

✨Getting a @artistgeorgecondo has always been a dream, from Dark Twisted Fantasy, to visiting museums and fairs… 👊🏽 🙌🏼 I couldn't be happier with this acquisition 🥰Each and every second and encounter since I started collecting in 2016 has led me to this moment, last Basel Miami, when I opened that backdoor on @spruethmagers booth and saw this gorgeous work on paper on the wall. 🫡Getting a Condo primary is not easy, I know it since i've been trying for the past couple years. ✅When @katyagause told me it was available, I knew I had to seize the opportunity. 🍒Cherry on the cake, this work has been made in Paris and it's written on the top left of the work. 🇫🇷It's coming back home baby

Interview | Raphaël Isvy Raphaël Isvy is on a mission to dismantle the “invisible filter” of the Paris art world. Having spent a decade as a collector observing how status often outweighs soul, he is now using the DNA of hospitality to curate rooms that breathe. We spoke with Raphaël about the “social choreography” of a room, the discipline of collecting with soul, and why the future of the art world depends on making people feel, quite simply, welcome. 🌧️ April was undeniably an intense month 🦂 🌤️ Luckily, I get to experience it all in what I truly believe is the most beautiful city in the world — surrounded by unique artworks, extraordinary performances, and deeply peaceful installations. 🏆 Both the Giacometti/Bhabha and Doig/La Roche exhibitions deserve the first prize 💥 ⏭️ Here’s my personal top 19 of the shows I had the pleasure of discovering this month — with the last slide featuring an exclusive appearance from our new assistant at the gallery @longstoryshort.paris ✨ 🔮 I’ve also started expanding my horizons by exploring more abstract exhibitions and sculptural installations… slowly but surely. ❓Which one was your favorite?

He started by collecting Pokémon cards. Then came sneakers. Soon after, early editions and KAWS releases entered the picture. What began as a childhood instinct to collect gradually evolved into something more deliberate, an approach to contemporary art shaped by research, relationships, and long-term vision. For Raphaël Isvy, collecting extends far beyond acquisition into lived experience. The Paris-born collector weaves art into daily life rather than storing it away, prioritizing quality over quantity and shaping his home as carefully as his collection. In our conversation, @raph_is reflects on supporting emerging voices alongside established names, how social media became his entry point into the art world, and why collecting begins with attention to people, process, and with allowing a collection to grow organically over time. 🔗 Link in bio to read the full conversation. #contemporaryart #artcollecting #collectorinsight #artandculture #artmarket

#ArtnnectMeet Ep.7 @raph_is We spoke with the French collector Raphaël, who left a decade in finance to embrace the emotion and human connection of art. Known for his fascination with distorted portraits and a collection anchored in figurative works, he values conviction over hype and seeks coherence over accumulation. His journey reflects a refined eye for living with art that resonates deeply, while reimagining how it can be shared beyond traditional spaces. Song picked by the collector🎧: It's up - Drake, Young Thug, 21 Savage #FrenchCollector #RaphaëlIsvy

🇯🇵20 pictures are obviously not enough to depict how breathtaking Tokyo was. It was my very first time there after and my expectations have been blown out. 👹My whole life has been deeply connected with the Japanese culture : art, anime, video games, design, Pokémon, fashion, food, architecture… and seeing it all with my own eyes triggered a massive nostalgic wave of surrounding feelings 🌊 🤯I have no words to describe the combination of that magical light, this intense blue winter sky and the city. 💛Thanks to the amazing people who made this trip even a better one 🗻 Can you spot the Mt. Fuji on the last pic ? 🙇🏻‍♂️ありがとうございます
