Thank you to my whole crew at @prorenfx・・・It all starts with a vision. The theme of this year’s Met Gala was “Fashion is Art” and here is my take on it…a piece of fine art, reimagined in motion. For ideas on how to realistically age Bad Bunny for the Met Gala, prosthetics designer Mike Marino (@prorenfx ) looked at octogenarian Puerto Ricans, as well as the singer's own facial structure and skin texture. Turns out, designing prosthetics requires the same understanding of facial structure as a plastic surgeon. This represents only some of the processes @prorenfx was involved in creating this massive work of live art. For Heidi Halloween. Dozens of artists were involved in the creation of this process. Could not have done it without the help of my longtime friend and collaborator @jerryconstantinefx . It all started with a design I sculpted on a shrunken down body of @heidiklum. Then scanned, further detailed on Zbrush, printed, molded, cast skins, fabricated, machined animatronics, painted, and applied to Heidi. MEDUSA for @heidiklum Halloween.This project was a colossal endeavor at @prorenfx that spanned months of designing, sculpting, fabricating, mold making, seaming, painting, and machining.
