Just finishing this private commission. A digital sculpture portrait bust of the late Olof Palme. Former primeminister of Sweden, that was assassinated in 1986.
The pictures are renders of the digital model and I was trying to get a clay like feel.
I will likely tweak it a bit more after doing some 3D print tests. The final bust will be 3D printed about 50-60 cm high with a base. I will also do some tests for some different types of finishes like bronze or some type of stone.

Right now we’re in New York filming more content for Xfinity with our Frankenstein makeup. Before we have anything to show from this filming, here are some behind-the-scenes pictures from our Budapest shoot of Park Pictures’ excellent Xfinity commercial directed by Lance Acord.

Here’s more from the Xfinity commercial we did in August, featuring a classic Boris Karloff Frankenstein’s monster. This was more of a portrait than a creature makeup and time was a little tight for a full on portrait. Casting the right actor was a challenge, we were very lucky to find the classic silhouette in the amazing Nick Delvalle and similarities to Boris Karloff's eyes. Nick has a narrow face which gave room to add volume and get that well known cavity on Karloff's right cheek.
I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I’ve always wanted to do a tribute to this amazing Jack Pierce makeup.

A lot of people have asked me how good this new book "Making Monsters" is. I may be somewhat biased being featured in it myself, but I can honestly say that it's awesome! It's even better than I was hoping and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in monsters, mufx or creature making. @hoops51@vintagegeekcentral@miltonagency #makingmonsters #mufx
Today I received my copy of "Making Monsters" by Howard Berger and Marshall Julius. @hoops511@vintagegeekcentral
I'm very honored to have been included in this awesome book together with all of my heroes and many peers that I admire. As a fan of makeup effects and monsters it blew me away and I can truly recommend it!
The book is available in the UK today and in the US on September 16th.

I sadly heard yesterday about Greg Cannom passing away... I never had the chance to work with him but he was always a huge inspiration! I was first introduced to Greg by Mitch DeVane in 1991. Next time I visited his shop on Sherman Way, which I will never forget, he gave me a pen and paper so I could take notes of the techniques he was going to tell me from applying the "Highlander 2" old age makeup. He later let me visit when he was finishing up "Hook" and starting "Bram Stoker's Dracula", which was mindblowing being a foreign novice in the industry. Skip almost 30 years ahead and I was lucky enough to be Oscar nominated at the same time as Greg. I ended up losing to him, but just being nominated in the company of one of my heroes was surreal and such a great honor.
You will be missed, Greg! But your makeups will live on forever❤️
Just found this video from when I first started selling my texture rollers. In the fall of 2016 I designed my first texture roller for sculpting after getting my first 3D printer. It was something me and my colleague Anders Bratås had been discussing years prior.
Originally I made 4 versions that I sent off as gifts to a few of my colleagues world wide and didn’t think much more of it. Then I kept being asked to start selling them and I eventually ended up designing 8 of them. In the summer of 2017 I opened my webstore that can now be reached through my webpage .
Today there are a number of variations out on the market on the same theme.
