A year or so ago I had stopped by the @maskmanor table at Monsterpalooza and after chatting with owner Marc Hansen about his latex mask designs, he had mentioned he would love to see my take on one of his designs…I quickly pointed to a strange mask called Stove Top which looked like some Frankenstein / Zombie / Train headed thing…I knew exactly how I would paint it. Mark sent me the blank copy and what you see is exactly how I imagined painting it. This was a cool and fun collaboration..thanks to Mark for letting me bring my imagination to his very cool creation! Working in Zbrush on the scan of one of my old masks “the Boogeyman” over the years so many have commented on this design would make a great Jason for a Friday the 13th remake and I couldn’t agree more..so I will be adding a hockey mask for fun.
