Baby boy 🐶 is 18 🎂 this month and we’re kicking it off with @nbctexastoday , sharing his happiest story @charlieatthepomspringshotel and the joys of senior 🐶 adoption! Charlie was rescued at 10 yrs old from the lobby of a hotel 🏨 while @prettyconnected was on vacation. In his 📚 Charlie 🐶 plays the tour guide of a hotel showing guests around the property and introducing them to his animal friends — all of which have unusual blended families. While Charlie loves his life and friends he dreams about meeting his forever family. And spoiler alert he does, and no one cheers lauder than his animal friends!🥰 All the animals from the book are real and a portion of every sale goes to animal rescue and welfare organizations. I’ve waited a long time for this! @pompomcharlie and I can officially add ‘author’ to the resume! 📚 While the @charlieatthepomspringshotel national book release is 11/7 on @amazon , @target , @barnesandnoble … everyone that pre-ordered on @prettyconnectedshop will be getting an advanced, signed copy! Many of you know the story of how I went on a press trip to Palm Springs and came home with a senior rescue I met in the lobby of a hotel that had a very hard time finding a home. Now you get to hear the adorable story from Charlie’s POV, and meet all of his animal friends from the hotel! I hope you love it as much as I loved writing it! I made this video last week, exhausted and exhilarated as we signed and shipped dozens of books, but was a little too emotional to post, plus I wanted to get the bulk of the orders out to make sure we get every single order out by this week! Seeing all the cities across the country that will have Charlie in their home warmed my heart in ways I didn’t know possible! We are donating a portion of the proceeds to animal shelters and we have a clear mission, to help find more animals homes, especially seniors and to encourage more hotels to get involved! I had no plans to ever get a dog. I rescued cats my whole life and Charlie changed me and my ❤️ in ways I’ll never be able to express. Most people think 10 is old, but 7.5 years later were living our best lives together. Thank you to everyone that purchased the book, your supportive means the world to me!
