When I started Beautyblender, I was a single mom just trying to build something of my own while raising my daughter Erica. There was no big plan, no guarantees, just a belief that I could create something meaningful. My daughter was there from the very beginning, growing up alongside me as I figured it all out one step at a time. She saw the long days, the risks, and the small wins that slowly turned into something bigger.
Now I get to watch her as a mother, and see my granddaughter, Irie, stepping into this world with curiosity and confidence. Seeing her be part of this journey feels incredibly special. It reminds me that what we build is never just for us. It lives on through the people we love.
And my own mother, the reason I know what strength and perseverance look like, is right here with us too. None of this exists without her.
This has always been about more than a business. It is about family, about showing the next generation what is possible, and about building something with heart that can be carried forward.
