Just found these memories from the night of the release of “If You Don’t Love Me (I ‘ll Cut Your Face)” EP on Pleasure District at Funkhaus Saal 4 🌹 and realized I never shared them here! It was the after-show event of @fourtetkieran , featuring @konradblackbeard , and dancers @itsjaomoon , and @helgawretman 🖤 I also invited @dbridge & @kid_drama_cnvx as Heartdrive and @pandorasjukebox to play—truly a dream lineup for a delightful evening. 🌚 Huge thanks to @mxj_000 for making it happen 🪄🖤and to everyone who came, it was very special! Tomorrow, 28.11, I’ll be giving a presentation on my process making music as @poison.arrow , as well as composing the sound for the TRAVIESAS installation and for my performances with @koaxula . I’ll also be doing a live demonstration of how the Lyra-8, Torso S-4, the Leaf Audio Box, and field recordings come together to form these living sonic worlds. I am very excited about it! Thank you @camaramusic and @elle__kai for the invitation. ✨ I am also very looking forward to the other workshops and live sets: @duma_ma will Introduce the use of loopers and effects in her live performances, and brings it all together with a vocal & electronics live set. @jacqnoise brings her modular rack, the Bullfrog synths and some drum computer to the stage and introduces the topics of subtractive synthesis and power of modulation. Casa Show has been rereleased on the new compilation of She Makes Noise x La Casa Encendida de Madrid-alongside songs by @marinaherlop @dis_fig @slimsoledad @deena___abdelwahed @okkre_music @electricindigo_official - thank you for including me on this special release 🤍 Happy anniversary @lacasaencendida ! On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, La Casa Encendida publishes the album 'She Makes Noise' in vinyl format. It compiles works by artists who have performed at the festival since its creation in 2015. It can be purchased at the Information Point and soon in the La Casa Encendida online store and in selected record stores. Side A of the album -The Listening- proposes four themes that include vocal experimentation, Latin sounds, noise, industrial and ambient. The work of the Spanish Marina Herlop and Uge Pañeda (aka Okkre) is included (with an unpublished song). From Colombia, Natalia Escobar (aka Poison Arrow) and Asian American songwriter and singer Felicia Chen (aka Dis Fig). The B side of the album -The Dancing- Techno, electro, African diaspora, urban rhythms. Politics of dance and thought come together with the songs of a reference of the European club scene such as Electric Indigo, the Tunisian based in France Deena Abdelwahed, Slim Soledad from Brazil and Nídia on the outskirts of Lisbon (with an unreleased song). A few seconds after finishing the last song, you hear the bonus track composed by _deleteD, a band based in Madrid that has been the authors of the festival score since 2019.
