Using her acrobatic voice and full body to transmit emotional complexity, critically acclaimed American vocalist and performer Felicia Chen aka Dis Fig, delivered an unforgettable concert at this year’s Lost Farm Festival, taking over The Pit. Joined by Jacob Maskell-Key aka Spooky-J, on drums, Dis Fig wielded her expressive voice as her vital instrument, translating profound emotional resonance, transforming sonic and ritual elements into a unique fusion of sonic and ritual expression - an electrifying surge and intense purge, refined by her vast pool of influences through a cathartic distillate that oozes between vulnerable beauty and retching chaos. Dis Fig cut her teeth operating in New York City’s scrappy DIY and experimental club scenes, collaborating with artists including Chinese multi-disciplinary creator Tianzhuo Chen, veteran British producer Kevin Martin aka the Bug, and acclaimed post-metal operators The Body. Spooky J is a Dutch drummer, percussionist, and electronic music artist, celebrated for his work in the experimental and hybrid rhythm scene, where he blends live percussion with techno, bass, and global influences. Based in Amsterdam, he has been involved in projects such as Nihiloxica, creating a distinct voice within contemporary rhythm-driven music. @dis_fig @spookyspooky.j Video: @regina_kysil_uzvar ✹✹✹ Lost Farm Festival, 8-10. Moving fluidly between drums, guitar, and voice, @raganaofficial ’s wide spectrum of influences meld into a singular vision of experimental black metal, redolent of the petrichor and damp green moss of the Pacific Northwest. Performances from @dis_fig are full-bodied transmissions. Her voice is an immediate snare to the senses, her presence immense: Rapture and Rupture, brvtal beauty flensed and stretched in uncannily melodic configurations. Opening the evening, @spixeberlin brings a fierce and urgent energy rooted in Berlin’s queer punk landscape, drawing from hardcore and crust, fronted by TINA* voices and formed from members of @shimmer_screamo , @wetdreamwarrrmachine , and @doublelifehc . â€ș Tickets in biolink

Exclusive premiere by Bungalovv ft. Dis Fig ‘The way we failed’ via Keyi Magazine — Bungalovv ‘Homecoming’ [YGK025] Full digital/cassette release out on April 17th by @yegorka.de . Read more in Keyi Magazine website. ‘Homecoming is a transportive, melancholy record, evoking the sound of a dust-coated tape found amidst the paraphernalia from the glove compartment of a car abandoned after some unnamed world changing event; a scratched, warbled relic of memory. The album is assembled from the intimate and the residual: music recorded on phones, resurrected hard-drive fragments, voice notes, and guitar parts the artist had forgotten how to play and relearned. These elements are set alongside newly recorded instrumentation and vocals, including Dis Fig’s moving feature on “The Way We Failed.” Homecoming carries the heavy pull of the past, yet moves with a mote-like lightness and transience, its material reading as attentively layered and recomposed debris which makes fitting companions of the fleeting and the eternal.’ Video @night____time Mixed @gilschneider Mastered @oliver_torr
