A native of Northern Italy, Sara draws on her European sensibility in her work as a designer and architect, specializing in high-end residential and boutique hospitality interiors which blend refined aesthetics with seamless execution. Sara is also a faculty member in the Sustainability program at the New York School of Interior Design and we loved discussing the role and importance of sustainability in design and the future of design.

From first pass to final polish, this vanity tells the story of precision and restraint. The floating double vanity in warm UV maple grounds the space, while the crisp waterfall stone countertop wraps seamlessly into the backsplash, creating a continuous, sculptural plane. Integrated sinks and wall-mounted faucets keep the lines clean and uninterrupted, allowing the materiality to take center stage.
Paired with soft gray walls, tailored millwork, and herringbone white oak flooring, the result is a bathroom that feels both modern and enduring. What begins as raw structure evolves into a refined, light-filled composition, where every detail, from the rounded mirrors to the tailored sconces, contributes to a quiet, elevated sense of balance.
