Thank you, Echo Fund! @musicoregon and Portland Office of Arts & Culture! @pdxartsculture I received a grant from the Echo Fund for the mixing of Shadow Work. This grant has made such a HUGE impact on the project, as I was lucky enough to work with the inimitable @todd_sickafoose . Todd the Wizard has somehow made all 29 musicians shine like the stars they truly are. This album is so wild and weird and complex and dense, and it could not have been in better hands. Over the last several months, Todd has been willing to get incredibly surgical, and graciously let me crash his mixing cave to massage even the tiniest moments into becoming what they were meant to be. Next step will be mastering with Jeff Lipton at @peerlessmastering . Talk about an absolute legend. I’m feeling very lucky and verklempt over here tbh With the amount of Grammy decorated artists working on this project, I’m starting to truly believe in the Not-So-Little Record That Could Please use your voices for keeping our arts funding alive! Our City’s Small Grant Program is currently endangered. This program funds MusicOregon, RACC, and the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center, among other important organizations.
