Last night we wrapped @alloutbroadway and today I turn 34. Never imagined I’d be on a Broadway stage, much less sharing it with this nuts cast. Putting this show together was a whirlwind and some of the most fun I’ve had doing anything musical, and performing these songs and shenanigans every night was a true joy. Never a moment I wasn’t pinching myself—what an insanely crazy thing we got to do here.
Huge thanks to @alextimbers and Simon Rich for bringing us into this world, to @kriskukul for being our musical coach, to @nancyreneebraun for the slick moves, to @steve.milosevich12@sherylpolancos for keeping us in line, and all the wonderful people who brought this thing to life! And lastly immense love to @clydelawrence21 and @gracie and my fine brethren of the Nederlander Theatre penthouse, which was surely New York’s hottest club these past twelve weeks.
We wrapped up the @lawrencetheband Family Business Tour in the UK right before Thanksgiving with a full-circle show in London and a night at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool. It was a sweaty basement banger and a return to our roots as a band, as well as a special tribute with ~90 mins of Beatles songs and a few Lawrence selects. An incredible way to end this tour that spanned 16 months and over 100 shows. Now we’re back in NYC and straight into a three month stint with @alloutbroadway .
