A continuation of our quest to preserve old-world craft, the Lido Series combines classic Murano glassmaking techniques with a contemporary approach to production. True to its name (lido translates from Italian to “shore”), the series embodies fluidity: order merging with intuition, familiar structures reimagined with time. Available now on incommonwith.com, and on view at Quarters from May 8.

32 hours in sunny Venice can do wonders ☀️ The last time I came was over 15 years ago when I was starting in the design world - it was rainy, flooding, crowded and full of mosquitoes. To come back to work with some beautiful people and artisans is really full circle. More to come ✨

Founded in 2018 by longtime friends @nozemba and @f_hung , Brooklyn-based @incommonwith designs lighting and furniture shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and care. Each piece begins with a question—about material, form, and the ways people live—and comes to life through a community of glassblowers, ceramicists, metalworkers, and engineers around the world. Nick and Felicia set out to bridge the intimacy of made-to-order craft with scalable manufacturing systems. Their approach is iterative and human, guided by touch and time, where material choice and detail give shape to calm, enduring forms. Partnership is at the heart of their work. Collaborations with peers—from Danny Kaplan on the Terra collection to Brooklyn glassmakers on Flora—extend the studio’s language while honoring the clarity and quiet that define it. Every piece is a conversation between maker and material, refined until it feels both effortless and inevitable. Browse exclusive collections through the link in our bio. Photography: @bachard

theROLODEX | ft @incommonwith ok so like every design professional my algorithm has been inundated by beautiful images of @shopquarters . I NEEDED to find out who the masterminds behind this space were... ENTER Nick + Felicia best friends who met at RISD, became co-Founders of @incommonwith and now @shopquarters (as if one design darling brand wasn't enough some of us cant even build one brand!) heres what i have to say about them -- they are the kind of artists who will never cut corners. they pride themselves in creating truly one of one spaces and when you enter one of their projects you really feel transported into their world. if i had the budget id hire them to design my hotel tomorrow. thank you both for indulging me and sharing your secrets on this series!!! Nick + Felicia's cheat sheet: 1. White paint - hate it! instead they mix custom paints at @janovic_nyc # 2. Moody paint - sorry guys I tried to get you that Quarters paint spec but alas another CUSTOM shade made by @janovic_nyc DROP THE PAINT LINE ALREADY GUYS 3. Painter - @jjsnyderstudio 4. Stone yard - @basstonenyc - also recommended by @bond_nyc and countless others! 5. Rosso Levanto strikes again. this has been a Rolodex favorite across the coasts. 6. Carpenter - *crickets* none! 7. @shanegabier - his ceramic pieces are influenced by modernist design and 70’s psychedelia 8. Jesse at @sacks_and_co - HIGH praise for him 9. Custom upholstery / drapery - @trystitchroom HUGE SHOUTOUT FOR STITCH ROOM 10. Controversial take - wall to wall carpet (I cosign!), carpet on the ceiling, pink toilets, mixed woods, red lighting - they’re all a yes for Nick. 11. Dream project - a hotel project where they design any and every detail - EXIT SIGNS INCLUDED

Strata is out today! This collection transforms glass into a language of light, patterns and color, utilizing techniques like hand-cutting, silkscreening, powder fusing, and slumping. This is our first full collection without other collaborators since we launched with the Core Collection seven years ago. But with that there are so many hands that have come together to create something I am so proud of. Thank you to all our team, partners, fabricators and community for making it all possible. Excited to share more and please come by @shopquarters to see the collection.
