12/18/2025 Wedding dinner celebration with our families and friends back home 🏡 Like our prenup photoshoot & wedding picnic in New York, everything was made intentionally and thoughtfully by ourselves and with family & friends. 💗 (DIY til we die, I guess? lol) @pautiu arranged the flowers and table set up of dinner, @kiko_tiu made sure our prenup, wedding and vows in NYC was well recorded for everyone to watch, name cards and giveaways were all hand written, designed and printed in riso by us 🤪, my mom (even when she was far away) sent heirloom jewelry passed down from my aunt and her sisters, mama @janeunnie helped me mentally and emotionally organize this and watched the make up artist with such careful eyes 😆 dad for being the best sponsor of Pau’s barong clothes and helped us with wedding errands, my cousin @justin.zoombox finally was able to capture these very special memories 📸 our cousins who brought speakers and other party equipments 🕺🪩 and our talented friends who made sure the dinner party was popping 😆 thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕🥹 we know it was quite far and a challenge to travel all the way to a mountain/nature reserve ⛰️🌱🪴🌞🌺😆 but you guys took it like a champ and a field trip for everyone to enjoy 🚌🚎✨ PS. Will be posting the nyc wedding picnic sometime soon— we are almost 2 years behind that one 👹

Our wedding day ceremony got almost cancelled by a storm. Sleepless nights monitoring the weather, checking in with our guests, cancelled reservations and on the spot wedding venue changes. We checked and considered different locations, even cafes and museums. We had 48 hours remaining to scrap and redo everything we planned for months before we decide if we push August 8 for outdoor wedding or not. We already had the permits and reservations. We didn’t want a grand one, we just wanted to share with people closest to us our favorite hidden spot in New York, and our deep love for sharing food. Pau and I were walking at St. Marks Union Square at around 11PM, 2 days before the wedding ceremony. We said to ourselves that we might have already exhausted all our efforts. We realized it’s been 11 years in the making, we have went through 5 years of long distance relationship, and we’re too damn tired of it already. We just want to be together in a place where our love is recognized and supported. We decided to screw everything, our truest friends will understand if we move everything, specially for their safety. And so we did. We invited only our immediate family, booked a place without even thinking if the food or place is okay. Pau just wanted to take me there for a date before and what’s the best way to date your future wife, right? We wanted a place to eat with our family who would stand the changing weathers with us, and they definitely did. They were ready to be there rain or shine, as they did for 11 years to accept and welcome us in their hearts. The rain was a blessing in disguise, we arrived at the place without expecting anything. We were the only people inside. The place reserved a whole room for our families to take refuge in; overlooking the garden as the rain wouldn’t stop showering. We gladly welcomed every tiny sparkle of rain drops that greeted our window and it shined like little diamonds as everyone laughed and cried while sharing their best wishes to us. We may have not looked our best thanks to the weather, but it showed our truest vulnerable selves, and I think that’s the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. 🌈

Merry Christmas from our small bad student family to yours 💗 This year has been a crazy ride (and it’s always a crazy rollercoaster ride every year we would say 😝) but immigrating to a different country to be with the one you love and starting the studio again from scratch (in our living room lol) is another. 20 photos and 20 tags in this post ain’t enough to show all the behind the scenes, incredible and genuine ppl we’ve had the honor to work with, all the times our studio manager ‘Nido’ 🐈‍⬛ comforted us knowing we’re far from our family in the Philippines, our friends who stood as our chosen families and always tried to bring a piece of home to us so we’d feel less lonely. We’re very very thankful of the community and the neighborhood we are in, everyone who chipped in to be part of this beautiful ride. I hope you know we see you and if there was a way to hug each one of you right now, we would. Thank you again for being part of our 2025. 💕🥹✨ Special mention to @way.of.love.in.sunnyside @frcarlsunnyside for believing in us 🫶 thank you Carl! And to @swma.nyc for helping us share this wonderful gift of art to the community ✨ Much love and gratitude, @felizecamille @pautiu @kiko_tiu @palabricaash @hamtori_1010 @janeunnie
