Last stop on the 2026 Figure Bound Spring Tour is the @printedmatter_artbookfairs LA Art Book Fair next Thursday to Sunday! So thrilled to make our first appearance at a Printed Matter fair and can’t wait to convene with all you book lovers out west
The fair will be at ArtCenter College of Design’s South Campus (950 S. Raymond Ave) in Pasadena
Visit pmabf.org to see the list of fair hours each day and to purchase your tickets! The fair is free on Sunday

Spring is coming! And we’re going on our spring tour to make appearances at book fairs across the states starting next week at @multipleformats . Excited to come back to Boston and make my way to Providence for the first time for @risd.unbound . Then @prattgradcomd Other Islands and the amazing LAABF @printedmatter_artbookfairs . Can’t wait to see all you book lovers, reunite with old book friends, share our books with new people, and talk about all things books in the next few months! xx

The morning bird and I are pleased to announce the release of our new book A Most Exquisite Corpse! It’s a year on from the start of this book project and so glad to share that it’s now available on the Figure Bound website, with a very special book launch event set for Saturday Feb 21, 2:30–5pm. More info soon.
A Most Exquisite Corpse is an accordion book that folds out to a life-size full-body drawing. Following the surrealist tradition of the cadavre exquis, each of the thirty participating artists contributes one page, a five-inch section of the body. Embedded in the drawing are time and conversations between Figure Bound and each artist as we sat down in their studio or home and talked about our life, pursuits, and pains while they drew. The result is a community making up one body holding an array of concerns: from the sweetness of a lollipop and cigar smoke to sores in the knee and hunger in the gut, from x-ray visions of our inner bones and flesh to looking out to the cosmos, from living amongst nature to living with bionic parts, from abstractions in the head to landscapes at your feet.
