🟡 Happy to share some insides into “Müll. Eine Ausstellung über die globalen Wege des Abfalls” (“Waste. Art and the Global Routes of Rubbish”) which has been running for over a month now – on view until July 26 at @museumostwall / @dortmunderu . 🟡 Sustainability isn’t just the subject here, it’s part of the scenography itself: Materials, constructions, and display formats have all been chosen so they can be reused. Instead of conventional wall labels, scenographic text modules are mounted on foam carriers – made from the very same foam used in a previous exhibition at Museum Ostwall. The wall texts are printed on garbage bags – which will be reused in once the exhibition closes. 🟡 In the Klimabündnis Dortmund section, this idea continues: scaffolding and gridboxes serve as temporary exhibition architecture. Once the show ends, they’ll be dismantled and reused. This way, the exhibition’s theme is consistently reflected in the materials and construction itself.

🗂️✨ Exhibition design for “Archive in Motion #1 – Tracing the Archive”, shown at GLASMOOG – Raum für Kunst und Diskurs, Cologne @glasmoog_cologne . The exhibition marks the beginning of an ongoing research and exhibition project exploring artifacts, voices, and moments from 35 years of the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM) @kunsthochschulefuermedien . Conceived as a flexible, growing scenography, the space becomes an archive in motion — a site for oral histories, collective memory, and ongoing discourse. Still on view until Jan 24, 2026. 🤝✨ in collaboration with @gesa_krieter #exhibitiongraphics #glasmoogcologne #operativespace

➡️ Exhibition design for “Looking for Palestine” by @forensicarchitecture , on show until December 14th as part of Foto/Industria @fotoindustria at Sottospazio, Palazzo Bentivoglio Lab in Bologna. Curated by Elizabeth Breiner @_elbr together with Shourideh Molavi. The exhibition addresses the ongoing experience of displacement and destruction faced by Palestinians—from the 1947–49 Nakba to the present day—bringing together testimonies, archival materials, and collaborative reconstructions that confront cycles of loss and dispossession. Through acts of remembrance and reconstruction, it explores how rebuilding—materially and mentally—becomes a form of resistance and continuity. 🌊🗺️📍 “Imaginations of Venice”, published by @hatjecantzverlag features a foldable ATLAS containing a speculative mapping by Stefanie Bürkle. Venice exists not only as a physical place but also as an image circulating globally. How do these imaginations and expectations shape the city today? For over 25 years, Berlin-based artist Stefanie Bürkle has been photographing Venice during her travels around the world. “Imaginations of Venice” presents selected photographs from Bürkle’s image archive. Her visual architectures offer insights into Venice’s layered realities—showing the loop in which the city is fixed, reproduced, reduced, and multiplied as a projection screen for diverse spatial imaginations. The artistic research project “Imaginations of Venice” is part of the Collaborative Research Center @sfb1265 Re-Figuration of Spaces at @tu_berlin , @artistic_research_berlin , and @fg_bildende_kunst . Design in collaboration with @tessa_darimont . #imaginationsofvenice #venicebereal #stefaniebürkle #hatjecantz #bookdesign #editorialdesign #grafikdesign #operativespace
