저는 다양한 디지털 장치들이 시공간과 퍼포머들의 신체를 매개할 때 생겨나는 고유한 시각 언어들에 흥미를 가져왔는데요, 살살의 데뷔 공연인 Love Spirals Horror 에서는 360도 카메라의 매체성에 집중해봤습니다. 서울 공연을 통해 마주친 다정한 사람들 덕분에 쾰른에서 다시 힘차게 생활할 수 있는 것 같아요. 2025년 10월 29일 KHM Aula에서 한번 더 공연을 진행합니다. I’ve been interested in the unique visual languages that take shape when various digital devices mediate space, time, and performers’ bodies. In the Sal Sal’s debut performance <Love Spirals Horror>, I focused on the materiality of the 360-degree camera. Thanks to the kind people I met through the performance in Seoul, I feel re-energized to live fully in Cologne. (EN) In this experimental performance film, Hani Gimna intersects how a historical neurodivergent figure named Gérard Lucas handles language with the process of an AI image generator creating images. Both practices have in common that the mediating role of the mediums takes priority over the meaning. She looks at the performance with cinematic technique and theatrical elements which is mediated by the act of filming with choreographed camera movements through the lens of Gérard and AI. The conventional dynamic between the camera person and performers is reversed, and the act of filming and being filmed is entangled, camera functions such as shifting focus take the protagonist's position. Through this, this piece will become a field where what its components express and the materiality of those components alternately pulsate.
