Dead Lions (Lions Do Swim) is out today and can be found on my Bandcamp and YouTube. It is the title track of a new mini album that will be released and performed with a special four person band at the Cavendish Arms on the 21st of May. Do come along!
This single and the album was recorded and produced by Chris at @utopia_ghost and it was great to at last include the lap steel guitar that I found for ยฃ30 at a carboot a couple of years ago. I will share more about the single and the upcoming album tomorrow on my Bandcamp letters which you can find a link for in my bio. Big love and small cats and thank you to Kittie for perfect modelling xxx

Performing Omam Dawn's original song Golden Tooth, another artist from our live event last December โจ๏ธ
Omam Dawn likes to write songs about fishermen and talking animals. Her debut album, Near From Goose Town, was released on the 17th of October 2025 and it evokes a delicate journey along river, from her home town, meeting mysterious golden-toothed men, into foreign fields of purple flowers ๐

Our next release is an album by @omamdawn titled Lions Do Swim, which we're just finishing up recording. It's strange and lovely, and you should come and listen to Amy play the songs from it at the @thecavarms on May 21st at a night with the @threadsnakecollective gang.
Tickets and more information are here:

Also playing are @v.major and cottonbeast & ~RJ, it's going to be eclectic but in a good way.
Spring time blessings. Things have been moving upwards. Space Dog and Donkey Song are now in the ether with wide thanks to Kevin Carballo, Sharon, Jan, and Pietro at HRS. Little birdy eyes and pointed fingers have been following all the way as deep water themed album has been created in collaboration with Utopia Ghost. Dogs like watermelon and so does Alice and Aliyah and Meat Loaf who have been the most fun companions. Jeffery and James were glowing on stage with Thread Snake last week. Louis Alberry has a new album out and it has been on repeat at home. Pointing on and out and I look forward to sharing these new songs with you soon x

Having a grand old time working on UG004 with @omamdawn . There will be a single in April and an album in May. It's about drowning and flying and various things in between and it sounds really good.
Goose Town played from Amstertown with moments from snow train rides and pianos through Belgium. The Goose Town song tells the story of a man from my hometown who, in the end, journeys on and drifts into the morning sun. Thank you to De Nieuwe Anita for inviting me to play at your warm space and to the leaders of the kind tea ceremony afterwards.
My heart grew very full visiting friends and playing songs in Amsterdam and Belgium last month and big love to the venues who welcomed me with such kindness. Here are photos of us welcoming in the year of the horse and the year of good hope. There are many vital and beautiful things that we can protect. Bunbuns are one of them. Thank you dear friends and Dad for being a part of these sweet days together.
Waiting for the purple lights of spring and here are some special moments on stage captured by John Erskin and my dear cousin Grace. This gig was supporting beautiful soul Hattie Chandler at Quay West Studios.
I feel so much joy performing with Alice and Aliyah and forever grateful for their contributions to these songs. We will be playing in Coventry this weekend supporting Constant Smiles at Just Dropped In Records. Let us know if you have any recommendations of places to visit and eat there? xx
