Born in Ukraine and living in South East London, Maria Mihailik is a young singer-songwriter. Inspired by an eclectic mix of songwriters, like Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Fiona Apple and Amy Winehouse, she blends folk styles and contemporary themes in a confessional, intimate way.
Support on the night comes from local wordsmiths Alfie Crinion and Joe McGregor. This is a night by the younger folk but not just for younger folk. It is a chance for us all to see that the future is in safe hands.
