The video is a collaboration with innovative young director Dana Bontempo, who also helmed Sumner’s previous four videos: the viral dance video for ‘Motel Room’, along with ‘Bridges’, ‘Is It Really Any Wonder’, and ‘Didn’t We Dream’. Of ‘Baby I Know’, Sumner says: “We are all terribly proud of this track. Without feeling as though we were reinventing the wheel, we all felt we did justice to the great tradition of the sad country ballad.
