Lachlan Bryan

So far, so Dutch. I’ve enjoyed this past week or so in The Netherlands, despite contracting bubonic plague on the flight over. The people have been kind and provided us all the warmth we could require in the sun’s conspicuous absence. I’m looking forward to the rest of these shows with @hannahaldridgemusic , @andrewleahey , @benmiddletondrums and of course the wonderful Arnold and Marieke. These are good times.

Op een regenachtige woensdagavond in Bergen-op-Zoom een geweldig mooi acoustisch optreden van de Amerikaanse zangeres Hannah Aldridge, samen met haar compagnon Lachlan Bryan uit Australië. Haar uitverkochte album “Razor Wire” kunnen laten signeren en ook haar laatste album “Dream Of America”, dat ze samen maakte met Bryan, mee naar België genomen. I can’t help but admit, this photo shoot has been my favourite so far. It’s been incredibly satisfying bringing together my two creative loves of music and photography, and as a bonus, I was able to capture an incredibly talented storyteller, musician and friend. This is my one of favourite portraits I’ve captured. It might not be the greatest of all time or the best that I’ll ever do, but I’m stoked that as of now, it exists forever.
