Pulse - a permanent installation by EBBA for Houghton Festival 2025, exploring the resonance of the forest through light, sound, and vibration. Developed with Benni Allan and Kevin Pollard, the work translates the subtle energy of the woodland into a living audiovisual composition. A custom TouchDesigner system by Oliver Ellmers drives the piece in real time - analysing multichannel L-Acoustics L-ISA audio and mapping it to generative lighting behaviours across a suspended LED canopy and haptic transducers embedded in the structure. The result is an evolving dialogue between technology and the forest, where sound, light, and form move as one. Proud to share this amazing short film of Pulse at @houghtonfestival captured by @james_retief Pulse was conceived as a way to connect people to nature through light, sound and haptics. Incredible to see the response and result that came together through the collaboration of an amazing team! Pulse is designed to remain as a permanent fixture on the Houghton festival site. It will continue to evolve with the seasons, weather patterns, and the forest’s own subtle changes. Over time, it becomes not just an installation, but a living monument - an ongoing dialogue between art, technology, and the natural world. Houghton 2025 - The Warehouse Another lap around the sun 🌐 Honoured to be invited back to create procedural graphic content for The Warehouse at Houghton 2025. Designed in @touchdesigner , in collaboration with Oliver Hupfau, these realtime visuals were built for the deeper, darker, harder moments late into the night. Air Traffic Control - Terminal 1, Glastonbury 2025 Air Traffic Control is an immersive installation inside Terminal 1 at Glastonbury Festival 2025. A live IP camera, a custom AI face-swap pipeline, and a TouchDesigner control system place each visitor’s face into real footage of migrants in moments of struggle - later revealed on a CCTV wall. A huge thank you to everyone who came out for the first-ever @touchdesigner Event London Summer 2025 at Number 90 Hideout. It was genuinely inspiring to hear such a talented and diverse group of artists share their creative journeys with TouchDesigner.
