“TOBIA WEARING TOBIA SHOT BY TOBIA” Architect Tobia Scarpa photographed by @tobiafaverio For everyone that knows us and have been in our casa/bottega, it’s quite obvious that we have a big love and admiration for the work of Tobia Scarpa. It all started with two tossed-out “Soriana” easy chairs that we bought for our home in Paris, more than a decade ago. Since many years, we have been collecting and lived among his designs, whilst studying his work, and we can say that he has been a key inspirational figure in our own understanding of design. The very first uniform shirt that we designed, back in 2015, was named “TOBIA” shirt, as an homage to a hero of ours, and after many years, we had the honour of having the architect Scarpa, wearing it. Alessio Pellicoro (1994) is an Italian contemporary photographer who uses landscape, still life and portrait photography as a journey to self-discovery. Driven by a poetic vision, he uses light to transform ordinary subjects into intimate, expressive images, revealing deeper meanings in everyday life, inviting viewers to slow down and connect with his imaginative world. Alessio’s work has been published in several magazines such as Phroom mag, Photocaptionist, Life Framer, Ombra Magazine, C41 Mag, Perimetro, GUP… also finding space within various group and solo exhibitions in Italy but also all over the world between Thailand, Canada, England and Germany. #OLDERSTUDIO

The original. The OLAFUR Apron is constructed from 1.20 m of woven fabric, assembled with 100 m of nylon-cotton thread and integrated care and composition labels. Its crossed back fastening – with colour contrasted ropes and four metal eyelets – and two side welt pockets, seamlessly bridge functionality and design in a full-body, one size fit all apron. Since 2023 the OLAFUR has been a part of the permanent collection at the MAXXI Museum of Architecture & Design in Rome.
