Yes — this year we levelled up: NABA has broken into the global top 50, ranking 41st worldwide.

🚀 Big news: NABA’s about to drop in London—yeah, first campus ever outside Italy!
After shaking up Milan and Rome, we’re bringing all the creative heat to London from October 2026, landing right inside the Here East innovation hub at the Olympic Park.
London’s got that non-stop energy and wild mix of cultures—fresh ideas, new styles, new talent all colliding 24/7. That’s exactly why NABA’s rolling in: to bring Italian vision and know-how straight into one of the world’s most buzzing creative scenes and open up mad new chances for students who wanna make real waves.

How to turn random city details into a whole typography system?
Our Graphic Design student Matilde Cremonesi shows you exactly how: walking around the city, spotting iron gates, photographing patterns, getting obsessed with those tiny details we all ignore — then slowly turning them into letters, shapes, a bold visual language.
That’s how her second-year Editorial Design project “Iron Script” came to life: not from a brief, but straightfrom the city itself — because sometimes inspiration is literally right in front of you, if you look close enough.

Meet Sara, an alumna of NABA’s BA in Graphic Design and Art Direction alumna, and dive into “Errore di Sistema”—her one-of-a-kind thesis project developed as an independent magazine.
A celebration of unconventional bodies and aesthetics, the project fuses analogue elegance with digital glitch art. The result is a powerful redefinition of beauty: unpredictable, unapologetic, and free from conventional standards.

What happens when fashion, heritage and new creative visions come together? ✨
At “Play With IT – the Festival of Italian Creativity” in Belgrade, NABA presented “Future Makers: New Visions for the Fashion of Tomorrow”, a project developed with Archivio Mantero where Fashion Design students reinterpreted their historic silk scarves through experimental approaches and personal research.
Curated by NABA Lecturer @gianmarcoporru and inaugurated by the Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Luca Gori, the exhibition also featured emerging Serbian designers — turning the project into a dialogue between different creative perspectives across fashion, design and visual culture!

Milan, 13–17 May 2026. NABA lands at Casa degli Artisti with “THE WITNESS” and it’s not just an exhibition, it’s a whole mindset! 👀
In a world where everything is constantly online, recorded, and consumed, what does it actually mean to witness something? This project flips the question, exploring how artists take in everything happening around them — political, social, cultural — and turning it into bold visual statements.
Featuring works by NABA students, Alumni and faculty, curated by the Visual Arts Area, “THE WITNESS” brings together different voices, perspectives and practices into one layered, ongoing conversation.
And it doesn’t stop there. Think performances, talks, screenings, studio visits: a full programme designed to go deeper and open things up!
Plus, don’t miss our students @vass.img and @luciacappellazzi ’s take on this year’s theme and how they interpreted it through their art.
