Had the pleasure and privilege of sharing some of my favourite tunes with the good people @cs__radio @rhythm__space - two takes due to tech difficulties and a long time coming - that’s the world and we keep rotating around it in song. An intentional hour of selections that sum up who I am - a few clips and picks from the set. Many thanks to @ficili0 @chl0ejay @occasionallyfatal 🌊 Also want to clarify the ‘but’ regarding the Kokoroko tune: I love all their records! I just really really love “Carry Me Home” haha. Shout out to @hrryprkr for the @ibero909 comp that I have been running to the ground!

I’m deeply honoured to be invited as part of the debut night of We, Otherwise - a new residency @tranzac292 presented by @insummerprod that offers a space for music, conversation, and connection. Here’s my little collage of an all-vinyl soundtrack of intentional songs to inspire and facilitate a community poem-writing process. In honour of Mother’s Day, I have chosen much loved records by a diverse lineup of artists, sharing sounds that represent introspection, care, nourishment, joy, catharsis and resistance. The music will be woven to evoke a sonic narrative, with hopes to create a unique experience for individual ones to surface, through unapologetic reflection and expression. We, Otherwise asks: What happens when music becomes a place to meet? Prior to my set, we’ll hear a special duo comprised of @veena_raga and @cao.lina blending the beautiful sounds of their guzheng & veena. It’s PWYC! So, come through, take a seat with a friend, your mom, family or meet someone new. 📍 @tranzac292 - 292 brunswick ave 🗓️ Sunday, May 10 ⏰ 7:30–9:30 pm Gratitude and 💐 @ngcamillee @neda.mohamadpour @paulasofiamv !

Tomorrow! Breaking Sound! A month-long photography exhibition celebrating movement and music by Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist Rhandy Adolphe (@sambaranthony ), produced by @trusttheprocesspress , our print project / music duo. Part of @contactphoto , hosted @highnotesco ! Party all day with local selectors (1-9 pm), great coffee, excellent digging and free jazz interludes. I’m on at 4:30 PM - the crate is filled with world-resonant wax in all languages and styles. Let’s dance! 🔊 ABOUT BREAKING SOUND 🔊 Through a body of work that fuses sound and sight through movement, the exhibition translates photography into visual sound waves captured through dance and DJ’ing. The installation explores vibration as a shared language; one capable of bending perception and dissolving boundaries between what we hear and what we see. At its core, Breaking Sound reflects on the idea that all sensation originates from the same material force: vibration itself. Visitors are invited to move through the space at their own pace, whether in stillness or in motion, and to return throughout the month to experience the work from new perspectives. Exhibition Dates: May 1 – May 31 Viewing Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM About Trust The Process Press: Trust The Process Press is an independent print matter project and DJ duo founded by Ola Mazzuca and Rhandy Adolphe. Their zine, MiBoSo, is about travel and its nourishing impact on Mind, Body and Soul, documenting experiences through vibrant film and digital photography, accompanied by haikus composed at every step of the journey. The reflective prose unveils perspectives that emerge when you’re fully present, in the company of love, while immersed in adventure-induced revelations. Journalists by trade, they take pride in being thoughtful curators and selectors of global sounds that spark conversation and curiosity—sounds that foster connection and collaboration, honour heritage, while fuelling movement.
