"The most challenging part of the shoot was getting a technocrane into the very remote farm we were filming on. The country roads were never engineered with that sort of machinery in mind, and the entire farm is built into a hillside. In the end that challenge became a gift. Using the crane and the natural height of the landscape gave the film its perspective and sense of scale. Can't beat a few trips to Skeggie at the end of last year! Butlins v Boring Director @simon_neal Really enjoyed the process of finding the beauty in the mundane. Referencing a favourite Martin Parr, who very sadly passed away last year. We also added hints of Gregory Crewdson. Luckily the weather played ball for the moments we needed it too! 🙏 The Ronin 4D was the camera of choice for many reasons, first time I shot a full project with it!
