Since tr mp won in 2024 I’ve been projecting across the country on federal buildings, museums, universities and national parks.By backing the Met Gala, Jeff Bezos is attempting to turn immense wealth into cultural cachet, while Amazon’s practices are horrifying.Amazon Web Services (AWS) has contracts supporting agencies like ICE and Department of Homeland Security. It also hosts large-scale surveillance infrastructure, including DHS’s Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology (HART) system, a multi-billion-dollar database designed to store extensive biometric and personal data on hundreds of millions of people.Support @amazonlaborunionThis guerrilla-style projection was independently produced, temporary, and executed without permission. Last night I projected Let Freedom Wave in Oakland as part of @falloffreedom. The piece is made with resin abortion pills, and it felt more urgent than ever.Yesterday the 5th Circuit ruled to ban mifepristone by mail nationwide, even in states where abortion is legal. This is the biggest blow to abortion access since Roe was overturned.Abortion pills are still available, including via international mail. These purses are both.Vintage 1960s handbags transformed into wearable sculptures with wire that lights up with urgent messages. Rest in Peace @pablo.cristi.studio ️ Today Oakland School of the Arts held a memorial for Pablo. Hearing from his students and colleagues was deeply moving, and no surprise to anyone who knew him, he was an extraordinarily caring and supportive teacher. I loved his kind, mellow vibe.The school is creating a grid mural on paper so that students and faculty can all take part in making it together. It will hang at OSA as a lasting tribute.We are all in shock from this sudden, unexpected loss.Pablo, I’ll miss seeing you sketching at @kinfolxoak @osaschool

Artists included @bev_fishman @jean.shin @reneestout5 @fredtomaselli @jaunequicktoseesmith, Susan Chen and curated by @homocriticus @liarosenewmanBy playing with scale, multiplying and dividing forms, and rethinking pills, prescriptions, and healthcare environments, the artists reveal systems of power, value, and exclusion. The works in Alternative Medicine also inspire new narratives of healing—stories of hope, self-care, and community support.
