UNION ist ein intimer Film über die außergewöhnlichen Bemühungen einer Gruppe von Lagerarbeitern, die in einem Amazon-Fulfillment-Center in Staten Island, New York, eine gewerkschaftliche Basiskampagne starten. Angeführt von dem charismatischen, aber unterschätzten Chris Smalls, gründet die bunt gemischte Gruppe von Arbeitern die Amazon Labor Union (ALU) und begibt sich auf eine Reise gegen eines der größten und mächtigsten Unternehmen der Welt.
