I’m delighted to share that my image ‘Gerrard’ has been shortlisted for @bjp1854 ’s Portrait of Britain.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are placed in this corner of Manchester. This project grew me. Baptised me! And this is such a wonderful return.
This image was photographed and printed by my own hands and you will be able to find it in The British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain Book Vol.8 - available for preorder soon!

It was such an honour to be selected to join ‘PLUS ONE’ with @resolvecollective and @blocprojects at their Summer Residency in Sheffield
Having the space to start working on projects that I’ve been thinking about for ages was really wonderful for me, especially with the residency being in Sheffield, my motherland 💋
Missing Sheffield already! Many thanks to the righteous people at @resolvecollective@blocprojects and special thanks to @ellatembarrett and @janadardouk
Photos from the sharing in August taken by the great @jashanw
@lenachalema for her debut EP ‘Mysticism’
It’s been in the making for more than two years and I’ve watched Lenacha gracefully move through some real life things and faithfully alchemise.
Lenacha has held so much space for my vision and really held my hand through such a deeply collaborative process while I’ve been dealing with a lot of burnout. babylon tried to finish me, but Mysticism brought me home. Thank you, Lena 🖤
This work is a marker; I believe in this sound and I’m so ready for the world to witness whats next.
MYSTICISM is out tomorrow!

In 2024, I received the @roundhouseldn Film Fund award. Together with a really great team we set out to make an experimental short film exploring the cultural legacy of black dance, thinking about cultural retention, faith and spiritual possession. Thinking about my home in Guadeloupe. The idea first came to me on a hike in Grande Terre with my auntie, and I felt it then
This is a really special project and something I’m continuing to work on, but I’m so pleased to share that our film will screen at Kings Cross Canal Cinema as part of the @roundhouseldn showcase with @everymancinema
Many thanks to the Roundhouse team for inviting us and many thanks to my team!
Will share more about this project in due time but for now??? Kings Cross Canal Cinema an nou ay 🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵
