The UK capital is gearing up for a phototastic spring, with
@photolondonfair helping spearhead a slew of events such as Peckham24 and the Offprint book fair.
Taking place at the newly refurbished Olympia, Photo London is premiering a new initiative called Source, curated by Tristan Lund, which invites galleries to show work by a single artist; focusing on image-makers who haven’t had their due, it includes Ute und Werner Mahler, presented by Peter Sillem, Frankfurt, and Shen Wei, exhibited by Bacqueville, Lille.
Alongside Photo London, Offprint book fair is also appearing in a new venue, 180 Studios on The Strand (
@180.studios ), an increasingly exciting cultural centre which just opened a Underground Cinema.
@peckham24photo returns to Copeland Gallery to celebrate its tenth anniversary, while
@wepresent arrives at the same venue a week earlier to present a series of exhibitions, openings, screenings and talks.
