“I heard ‘Chopard’ for the first time because my grandmother was wearing some of their jewellery,” says Hugo Ekitike of his first watch purchases: two Alpine Eagle classic sports models. “In France, lots of women do. So when I told her I was about to wear Chopard, she was really surprised. It just felt good to have something different to my team mates.”
