KIANNA • WHITE With this one we were playing with contrasting lighting reflecting the tone within the film “White” from the Trilogy series. With some subtle comedy, we see a man rise from social and public humiliation into a world of greed characterised by the Western world. Which is why I thought using harsher lighting would be able to translate that tone better…. I dunno maybe I’m bugging. I really enjoyed this one with Ki, even tho we were rushingg last min! SAUL • BLUE Finally posting these (way overdue…) A project I had on my mind for so long before execution. Very (loosely) inspired by ‘Three Colours’ Trilogy by Krszystof Kieślowski which was one of the first (+ only few) polish films I’ve watched introduced by my mum- getting me to re-connect with my Polish background:). I was motivated by the underlying messages of each of the films & how they interlinked with one another. Throughout the shoot the meaning of the film drifts away a lil but still had so much funn.
