ABri - ARTIST INTRODUCTION
Gian Singh Sanghera-Warren (he/they) is an interdisciplinary dance artist and performer of South Asian and British descent, born and based in East London.
Gian’s practice is informed by digital culture and contemporary trends, uncovering how the virtual world can be a site of both personal and communal memory. Rooted in an understanding of the body, his work engages with movement as both an embodied and visual practice, exploring the boundaries between the physical and virtual body through semi-improvised movement, projection, installation and film.
