Our monthly drawing social is back!
Join artists Billie M Vigne and Chloé Das Neves for 'Embossed Bodies'—a collaborative evening of embodied mark-making on metal and paper, performance and shrine-building. Drawing on your own sensations and bodily inclinations, you'll be guided through a series of mark-making exercises that seek to uncover a freer and more embodied way of drawing.
Everyone is welcome to these relaxed sessions, encouraging you to have a go and express yourself, whether you're new to drawing or a seasoned sketcher.

Chloé Das Neves is a multidisciplinary artist who explores the body and its visual representations through drawing and movement. Her practice is a conversation between the immaterial body and anatomical structure, and how we can keep track of this ongoing dialogue. Probing the materiality of memories, she uses the methodology of palimpsest to document the ephemerality of the body in motion. Through fragmentation, reconstruction and assemblage, her work recreates histories of bodies in space.

OPEN CALL
ABri is going for a round two! We are looking for dancers/performers who want to develop new work.
Artists will be able to create/ rehearse/ lead workshops in our space at @vespersclub (Peckham), 2hours a week over the course of 4 weeks. The 5th week we’ll have rehearsal with light/sound engineer and the —ABri show on April 29th, 19:00 - 23:00

ABri - ARTIST INTRODUCTION

After studying fashion design in France, she obtained an MFA in 2022 at The Margate School as part of the European programme.
