We are Claudia and Francesca.
We live and work in London where we co-founded Alston Work Studio, a Production Design and Art Direction Company.
Our company covers a vast array of fields, from Fashion to Music Videos to commercial projects. We help you design your complex and ambitious vision and then we bring it to life.
We look forward to working on more challenging and creative projects and achieving your vision.

It’s rare these days to be part of such a truly creative set design process: from the first conversations and client input to early sketches, deep research, refined concepts, and finally bringing the vision to life.
A massive thank you to our star set builder and pipe artisan @rob_zordan for his immense contribution, patience, and focus in leading the making of this project, to @danielmondin for his tireless support and generous helping hand, even while juggling other jobs; and to @saramackenzie_designs for helping us with stitching and bringing some much-needed freshness and joy into the workshop after many long days of hard work.
After hours and hours of bending tubes and connecting them, hand and machine-stitching, cutting MDF, painting and making silver lob sided cushions, we’re incredibly proud of what we created.

Introducing our three new hand-painted backdrops and our sleek stainless steel setup (featuring two 2400x1200 flats and a custom plinth). A fresh set of props, each one inspired by the personalities on our team (yes, we’re that fun).

We are so proud of our work to make this beautiful piece come to life and for the opportunity to express our creative point of view.
It was a journey: a lot of planning, material research, design, bending plastic tubes, stitching away for hours and hours!
But now it’s here - alive and breathing. Pass by to see it and us and the work of the incredible talents performing!
Last December, we had the absolute joy of designing the set for Wanna Die, the official video for @ejthackray ’s latest single. From concept to creation, we brought a wacky and surreal jazz club atmosphere to life - complete with layers and layers of the many draped curtains we made in-house, setting the perfect stage for Emma-Jean and Gilles’ fun show. 🖤🎶
