It explores how these developments—understood as part of the broader nuclear condition—responded to, and ultimately transcended, the political confrontations of the Cold War. Architecture is a social discipline and a reflection of society. That is why Diversity in Architecture e.V. (DIVIA) aims to also make women visible in this field. For the second time, the jury selected six finalists from 25 nominees who are designing visionary and groundbreaking architecture: Winner Trần Thị Ngụ Ngôn (Vietnam), as well as Izaskun Chinchilla (Spain), Patcharada Inplang (Thailand), Carolina Rodas and Carla Chávez (Ecuador), Surella Segú (Mexico), and Cazú Zegers (Chile). Their work and stories will be featured in our book, which was published in May. — Architektur ist eine soziale Disziplin und Spiegelbild der Gesellschaft. Deshalb ist das Ziel von Diversity in Architecture e.V. (DIVIA) Frauen auch dort sichtbar zu machen.
